I started this thing out of personal frustration, since the owner and maintainer of the more popular site piclog.blue (same concept as this one) seems to have died off the internet and isn't responding to mail, isn't accepting new user submissions nor has done anything online at all in the past 2 years.
Luckily piclog.blue is open source, so i was able to easily clone it to my server, modify it's code slightly and rename it to "piclog.red" because heck yeah blue VS red.

This new version differs mainly in the fact that the webmaster is alive and actively operates on the site and it's code.
Another thing that changes is that while on piclog.blue you have to wait for manual user approval (this made it extremely hard to join since if the webmaster is not responding, no new user joins), piclog.red automatically verifies it's users.
