Today me and dad woke up at 3am for a 3 hour car ride to Rome. We had to guide and assist my older adult sister to the medicine and surgery faculty of the Tor Vergata university in Rome.
She has to take a long series of exams to be admitted into a proper money making career in medicine.
The exams started at 9am and finished 9 hours later. 9 hours where me and my dad had to stay outside of the auditorium with basically nothing to do except wander around, eat junk food and peek through the windows to check up on the situation inside that torture chamber of an auditorium.
Btw this isn't even the first time we had to do this: we did a similar thing in December of 2025 and she managed to fail the first exam. This time she still failed but at the last interrogation exam. she came out crying. also explained that neither now nor in december did a single student actually pass through all the tests. Now i basically never get political or conspirationist but i'm pretty sure what's happening there is the ones who manage the exams got some recommendeds to do the tests and received money without really minding wether the students pass. All the hundred other students in the auditorium can confirm.
